The debate over JNUSU election is on in campus. It’s a welcome step that political organizations are taking position towards building a conscience over election. We all want JNUSU election to be held as per the JNUSU constitution and we will keep struggling for that. For now, on interim basis we should held election seeking maximum relaxation from the Solicitor General of India. We on behalf of common students demand that
• All the political organizations should go for a negotiation with Solicitor General of India with a broader conscience and try to save maximum of JNUSU ethos and spirit.
• The negotiation should be strictly time bound so the next step can be taken as soon as possible.
• The points of negotiation should be made clear by all political organization.
• The political organization should come to JNU community with the outcome of negotiation and JNU community should decide what action should be taken in that situation.
We appeal to all students to participate in UGBM tomorrow and ensure JNUSU elections.
